Some people have told me that my blog seems a little cold and impersonal and doesn’t really give you an idea of who I am…. So this is my attempt to change that! I thought I’d start by doing one of those lame 25 things about me lists that are so popular over on Facebook….

Welcome to my blog!
Moments.
Relationships.
Story.
My goal with every wedding is for a complete stranger to be able to look at your wedding pictures and know the complete story of your day... everything from the little details, to the emotions, to the people that were there.
A big part of accomplishing this goal is for me spending the entire day with you so I can capture all those special moments on your day, everything from that quiet moment with your mom while you're getting ready to your 'Crazy Uncle Larry' with a lampshade on his head and a bridesmaid on each arm... And maybe even a wedding in there somewhere!
Of course, we'll still take some kick ass portraits too! I like to keep them so quick and painless that your drunken groomsmen won't even notice. I pride myself on being able to get great pictures anywhere, anytime.
I know family is important (that's why you invited them... right?) so I make sure to get some great pictures of you and your family. Too many photographers these days see the family pictures as a chore... I really believe that in 30 years, pictures of you and your closest family will be some of your most cherished memories.
If any of this strikes a cord with you, give me a call and we can talk about getting you some great pictures.
Scott.

I love when people post 25 things about themselves. I don’t think its lame at all.
Its nice to know about your life. I never would have thought in a million years that you were in the army or a pilot.
Thanks for sharing!
…also I think your funny in a sarcastic, smart way
Thanks Andrea
Scott, you are an incredible human being and photographer!!!

I have officially decided that I’m calling you if/when I get engaged…Your pictures are beautiful. After looking at a few other photog’s archives, I can appreciate the spontaneity and “fly on the wall” feel you’ve managed to capture.
Bonus: none of those cheesy ‘looking through the wedding bands into the camera’ pictures!
You’re very funny… and it does show on the internet-I believe I laughed out loud at #18… nice. And I was inspired to visit your blog after reading your ‘circling seagull’ comment on fb. Wow-I sound kind of stalkerish. Anywho-your blog is great… and personal. Thanks for sharing 25 things.
Cheers!
I like it Scott, I love the honesty in #24….
Love it! I’ll take another serving of THIS, garçon!
