Eglinton Grand Wedding | Elsie + Jeff

Elsie & Jeff had an amazing spring wedding at three of my favourite places in Toronto; the Trinity Chapel, Distillery District and The Eglinton Grand.

Elsie must have been a saint in a previous life since the threatening rain clouds held off until the reception started, we were all sure it was going to rain at some point.

A big thank you to Aron Goss from Calculated Style for second shooting that day.

Here are some of my favourite wedding images from their day.

Elsie getting her hair done at the Haartek Salon.

Checking out the hair in the mirror.

The entrance to the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto where Elsie and her bridesmaids got ready.

Elsie's sister applying her make up.... always handy to have a sister that's a make up artist.

Elsie's sister grabbing a quick picture as Elsie opens a gift from Jeff.

Elsie's wedding shoes.

The boys working on playlists for in-between sets from the band.

Jeff starting to get ready for the wedding at their loft in downtown Toronto

Love the classic look of a black bow tie. Jeff had a custom suit from Harry Rosen.

Jeff and one of the groomsmen checking things out in front of the mirror.

A nice available lit shot of Jeff in their condo.

Elsie looking on as her sister ties up her wedding gown.

Elsie putting on her earrings.

Elsie looking stunning!

Jeff laughing at (or with) his best man.

Jeff's 100 year old grandmother never would have guessed!

Jeff receives a hug from Elsies sister seconds before the ceremony started.

Elsie and her dad begin the walk down the isle at the Trinity Chapel in Toronto.

A private little moment between Elsie and Jeff during their wedding ceremony

A really nice picture of the ceremony taken by Aron Goss who was second shooting for me that day.

Jeff and Elsie all smiles after being pronounced husband and wife!

A nice little embrace during the ceremony.

Walking down the aisle as husband and wife!

Elsie's grandmother gives her a kiss on the arm during the family portraits.

Elsie and Jeff at the Distillery District for pictures.

Used some stacked up patio furniture for a nice portrait.

A cab driver was offering posing advice so of course we had him jump in for a picture.

The moment their first dance ended.

An old Macedonian tradition of breaking the bread to see who will wear the pants in the family... Jeff's trying really hard.:)

Jeff and Elsie enjoying their first piece of wedding cake.

Watching the surprise slideshow that Jeff created for Elsie.

Jeff comforting Elsie as she gets to an emotional part of her speech.

And a little Macedonian dancing...

Midnight snack McDonalds burgers! Oh, and some wedding rings.

The Community Players

We moved to the little town of New Hamburg late last year so I’ve been trying to get my name out to the local community in a bunch of different ways.

First up was doing some work for New Hamburg’s The Community Players and their production of Music Man.  So far I’ve been photographing the prop & stage building and the start of rehearsals.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing how a show like this all comes together and look forward to working long term with The Community Players.

If you’re interested, you can get tickets here.  (we’re going to the saturday show!)

Here are some pictures from the last couple days, more to come soon!
